Renovation of the Accelerator Laboratory underway

The board of Helsingin Yliopistokiinteistöt Oy decided to launch the renovation of the University’s Accelerator Laboratory building and its subterranean facilities on the Kumpula Campus.

The building and facilities will be renovated according to the requirements of the Faculty of Science of the University of Helsinki. The scope of the project is approximately 4,800 GSM and according to the plan, the building and subterranean facilities will be ready to be taken into use in the spring of 2012. The leading contractor for the project will be SRV.
